We are looking for a Senior ServiceNow Platform Engineer / Solution Architect to join a major AI Governance programme for a large European financial services organisation.

This is a senior hands-on position combining ServiceNow architecture, platform engineering, custom application development, integrations and governance automation .

Location: Remote — candidates must be based in Spain or Portugal

Contract: Initial 5–6 months with potential extension

Start: ASAP

Engagement: B2B / Autonomo

What you'll be doing

- Lead the implementation and ongoing management of a ServiceNow-based AI Governance platform.
- Design and develop scoped/custom ServiceNow applications.
- Build automated workflows for AI asset onboarding, lifecycle management, risk assessment and governance.
- Implement integrations with enterprise platforms and data sources.
- Work with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, REST APIs and ServiceNow scripting.
- Help establish governance processes around AI assets, models, datasets and workflows.
- Embed regulatory and risk requirements into technical solutions.
- Collaborate with product owners, risk, compliance and engineering teams.
- Support dashboards,



reporting and governance evidence for audits and senior stakeholders.
- Mentor engineers and help define ServiceNow platform best practices.

What we're looking for
- 8+ years of ServiceNow platform experience.
- Strong experience designing and implementing custom/scoped applications.
- Excellent ServiceNow JavaScript and scripting knowledge.
- Flow Designer and IntegrationHub experience.
- Strong REST API, web services and enterprise integration experience.
- Experience with GRC/IRM, Risk, SPM or similar ServiceNow modules.
- Experience designing complex ServiceNow solutions from requirements through deployment.
- Understanding of governance, risk and compliance processes.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Highly desirable
- ServiceNow AI Control Tower / AI Governance experience.
- AI governance or Responsible AI programmes.
- EU AI Act, GDPR or DORA knowledge.
- Databricks, Collibra, CMDB or Active Directory integrations.
- Experience within banking, insurance or financial services.
