Experteer Overview
In this role you will drive standardization, performance improvement and operational excellence across Hydro's European operations. You will collaborate with plants, technical teams and leadership to optimize fabrication processes and KPIs, with a strong focus on safety, quality and sustainability. You will lead cross-site improvement projects, share best practices and support compliance with the Quality System and HSE requirements. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role that shapes manufacturing performance across Europe and contributes to Hydro's broader sustainability and efficiency goals.

Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Develop and maintain fabrication standards across Europe with emphasis on safety, efficiency and reliability
• Monitor and improve KPIs (OEE, uptime, asset utilization, productivity, scrap, quality)
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional improvement projects across multiple sites
• Identify and share best practices; harmonize fabrication processes across the European network
• Collaborate with plant leadership and technical stakeholders to provide expertise and constructive challenge




• Promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement to strengthen technical capabilities
• Support compliance with Hydro's Quality System, HSE requirements, policies and regulatory requirements
• Contribute to improvements in quality, safety, sustainability and overall operational performance

Responsabilidades
• 5+ years in fabrication of structural components (cutting, milling, assembly, fastening, bending, punching, welding/joining)
• Experience with aluminium extrusion manufacturing is a strong advantage
• Practical experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, Kaizen or Operational Excellence
• Proven experience with manufacturing KPIs (OEE, uptime, utilization)
• Experience leading cross-functional improvement projects across multiple sites or regions
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related technical field
• Fluent English; additional languages advantageous
• Understanding of aluminium extrusion processes is a plus
