Experteer Overview
In thisSenior Applied AI Engineer role, you will design, build, deploy, and govern AI solutions within a cross-functional pod to address scientific, service, commercial, and operational challenges. You’ll translate business needs into production-grade AI capabilities that are reliable, observable, and reusable, moving beyond prototyping. You’ll build AI agents, RAG apps, and reusable skills that scale within Agilent's AI ecosystem. You will work closely with end users and domain experts to ensure solutions deliver measurable business value. This is a hands-on, impact-focused engineering role that blends software engineering with AI governance and platform collaboration.

Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Define architecture and build approach for the pod's use case, selecting agents, RAG, retrieval, and orchestration patterns
• Create reusable AI skills and integrations using platform services, ensuring testability, reuse, and proper identity, access, and governance
• Embed evaluation, testing, and observability from the first sprint, establishing benchmarks and production monitoring
• Implement AI solutions with security, compliance, and governance controls,



including human-in-the-loop for regulated use cases
• Contribute reusable skills, patterns, and evaluation assets back to the broader AI platform and document them for future teams
• Collaborate with domain SMEs and business practitioners to sustain AI solutions and feedback into platform improvements

Responsabilidades
• Full-stack engineering strength with production-grade LLM application experience
• Experience building agents, RAG solutions, evaluation frameworks, observability, and deployment processes
• Familiarity with MCP or equivalent tool-use protocols and composable systems under a registry discipline
• Ability to operate in regulated environments with audit trails
• Strong communication and the ability to influence across audiences
• Curiosity about AI, growth mindset, and commitment to responsible implementation
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Typically 8+ years of relevant experience
