We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in modern embedded software development, secure device architectures, Linux-based systems, and automation-driven delivery practices. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative connected products while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across the full product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, integration, and maintenance of embedded software solutions.
- Drive software architecture decisions and technical direction for embedded products.
- Collaborate with hardware, systems, quality, and product teams throughout development.
- Ensure functionality, reliability, security, and maintainability of delivered software.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and release automation processes.
- Mentor engineers and promote engineering excellence across the team.
Mandatory Qualifications & Skills
- Strong professional experience with modern C++ development in embedded environments.
- Deep knowledge of Yocto Project and Embedded Linux development, customization, and build systems.
- Hands-on experience with Secure Boot implementation and secure device architectures.
- Experience with NXP i.MX platforms is highly desired and considered a key differentiator.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD practices,
automated builds, testing, and deployment pipelines.
- Experience debugging and optimizing software running on embedded hardware.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Strong knowledge of Embedded C development.
- Experience in bare-metal programming using main-loop architectures and/or RTOS-based systems.
- Knowledge of unit testing methodologies and automated testing frameworks.
- Understanding and practical application of software engineering best practices such as SOLID principles, TDD, clean code, and code reviews.
- Experience with performance optimization, memory management, and low-level debugging techniques.

Education & Experience
Bachelor´s or Master´s degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Significant professional experience developing embedded software products is expected.
