Experteer Overview
In this role you drive standardization, performance, and operational excellence across Europe’s extrusion plants. You’ll collaborate with plants, technical teams and leadership to raise safety, quality and efficiency. You will lead cross-site improvement programs, share best practices, and support compliance with quality and health and safety systems. Expect a data-driven, collaborative environment that values continuous improvement and measurable impact. You’ll be helping Hydro advance its European manufacturing footprint and sustainability goals.

Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Develop and maintain fabrication standards across Europe with focus on safety, efficiency and reliability
• Monitor and improve manufacturing KPIs (OEE, uptime, asset utilization, scrap, quality)
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional improvement projects across multiple sites
• Identify and share best practices; harmonize fabrication processes across the European network
• Collaborate with plant leadership and technical stakeholders, providing expertise and constructive challenge
• Promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement to strengthen technical capabilities
• Support compliance with Hydro's Quality System,



HSE requirements and relevant customer/regulatory requirements
• Contribute to improvements in quality, safety, sustainability and overall performance

Responsabilidades
• 5+ years in fabrication of structural components (cutting, milling, assembly, fastening, bending, punching, welding/joining)
• Experience with aluminium extrusion manufacturing (advantage)
• Practical experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, Kaizen or Operational Excellence
• Proven experience with manufacturing KPIs (OEE, uptime, utilization)
• Experience leading cross-functional improvement projects across multiple sites or regions
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field
• Fluent English; additional languages advantageous
• Understanding of aluminium extrusion processes is a plus
