Experteer Overview

As Animation Lead, you will guide the cinematic and 3D animation direction for marketing content, primarily for Monopoly GO!, shaping trailers, cinematics and UA videos. You’ll lead Storyboard Artists and Animators, ensuring storytelling clarity and high-quality performances across productions.
You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate briefs into polished visuals, while mentoring the team and coordinating with lighting, assets and VFX. This role blends leadership with hands-on contribution when needed, within a fast-paced, creative studio.

You’ll contribute to innovative workflows and AI-assisted processes to boost production efficiency and storytelling impact.

- Lead the animation and cinematic execution from brief to storyboard, layout and animation for trailers, cinematics, UA ads and marketing videos
- Direct and review storyboards and animatics to ensure narrative clarity, composition, pacing and timing
- Supervise 3D layout and character animation, ensuring camera work and performances are aligned with tone
- Supervise Storyboard Artists and Animators, coordinating with Producers on priorities and feedback
- Perform asset checks in pre-production and coordinate dependencies across Animation, Assets and Lighting teams
- Collaborate with Lighting Lead and Asset Lead to ensure smooth handovers and rig/asset readiness
- Partner with Motion Designer Lead on integrating 3D with motion graphics and editorial flow




- Identify risks early and propose practical solutions to protect quality and deadlines
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external vendors to maintain consistent storytelling across styles
- Contribute hands-on Maya layout or 3D tasks when workload allows
- Explore AI tools and workflows to improve storyboard, previs, layout and production planning
- Support creative development and team growth through constructive feedback and mentorship

Responsabilidades

- Minimum 5 years in 3D animation, cinematics, advertising, games, feature animation or related field
- Experience as Lead Animator, Animation Director or Supervising Animator with team leadership
- Strong portfolio showing 3D character animation, cinematic storytelling and direction
- Advanced knowledge of Autodesk Maya and professional 3D workflows
- Strong 3D direction skills including storytelling, camera work, pacing and character performance
- Understanding of modeling/rigging dependencies and asset preparation for animation
- Experience reviewing rigs and defining requirements for character performance and animation needs
- Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and stakeholders
- Excellent English communication and presentation skills
- Organized, proactive, decision-driven with ability to work under tight deadlines
- Collaborative and cross-functional mindset; open to AI-assisted workflows
