Job Description
The scope of this role is to support importers and exporters in meeting customs requirements for international shipments. :

Responsibilities
- Prepare customs documentation and ensure that shipments meet all applicable laws to facilitate the import and export of goods.
- Accountable for accurate and timely declaration.
- Ensure all documents are submitted timely to customs for audit.
- Periodical training / updates on the customs matters.
- Feedback to the customer (internal and external reporting of the shipments to the customer) by various means (mail, phone, EDI)
- Operational troubleshooting
- Non-conformance reporting in accordance with the KPI’s.

Job Requirements




- Graduate of any discipline or 1 year of experience in customs declaration matters within the freight forwarding industry
- General knowledge of various local and International shipping and freight forwarding practices is an advantage.
- Combined excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong ability to analyze situations and to make good decisions based on available information.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing policies and procedures.
- Knowledge in ERP systems, computer literacy in Microsoft Office will be an added advantage.
