As Compliance Lead at ING Hubs Spain, you act as an independent expert for 2nd Line risk management in Data Protection and Compliance. You advise, monitor, and challenge risks related to personal data processing and ensure local policies align with ING’s framework. You will drive awareness, design and deliver training, and oversee Compliance Risk profiles at the entity level, reporting to local/global risk functions. You join a tech-forward hub that aims to scale secure solutions for millions of customers, shaping risk-aware processes in a fast-paced environment.

• Advise on and challenge risks related to data subject processing and local impact of personal data handling
• Implement and ensure alignment with ING Group Compliance risk management framework and standards
• Verify first line of defense processes and controls are properly designed and effective
• Oversee entity-level Compliance Risk profiles and report to NFRC and General Risk functions




• Translate Risk Appetite into entity-level strategies within predefined appetite
• Raise data protection and compliance risk awareness across the organization
• Develop and deliver Data Protection and Compliance training for ING Hubs Spain employees
• Instruct management and staff on Data Protection and Compliance requirements to ensure regulatory and policy alignment
• Execute monitoring activities per Monitoring Plan, generate reports, and inform Management of issues
• Monitor compliance with laws, regulations, policies, ING Code, and the effectiveness of controls
• Report monitoring results xqbhyrx within ING Data Protection and Compliance Frameworks
Responsabilidades
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in control functions (compliance, data protection, risk management or auditing)
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Advanced academic degree in a technical, disciplinary, or management field
• Dedicated certifications are a plus
