Job Description: An opportunity for a *Stress Engineer* has arisen within *Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid)*. The selected candidate will join the *Stress Department (Military Derivatives / Air Power)*.We are building a brand-new team inside an ambitious and challenging new upcoming military Program that will help reinforce European sovereignty. The team is dedicated to structural stress analysis and works in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment in close contact with internal engineering groups, experts, authorities, and external sub-contractors.*RESPONSIBILITIES*The main tasks of the jobholder will be:* *Analyse and validate* metallic, composite, or hybrid structures from a stress point of view.* *Write and check* stress dossiers, reports, technical justifications, test programs, and test reports.* *Define* justification approaches and ensure activity progress with support from Technical Authorities and Senior Engineers.* *Support* manufacturing processes by assessing structural non-conformities.* *Collaborate* closely with design engineers, experts,



civil/military authorities, internal Airbus engineering teams, and subcontractors.*SKILLS*Is your profile aligned to the following list of skills? Apply We are looking forward to know you:* *Education:* Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Aerospace preferred).* *Experience:* At least 3 years of experience in Stress Analysis.* *Soft skills:* Good communication skills, autonomous approach, high adaptability, open-mindedness, synthetic thinking, and openness to digital technologies.* *Languages:* Advanced level in English & French (both spoken & written).* *Technical knowledge:* Good knowledge of Airbus calculation methods and tools, analysis of metallic/composite/hybrid structures, and writing/checking stress dossiers and test programs.* *Valuable / Nice to have:* Spanish language skills will be valued.
