Middle/Senior Software Engineer — Belmoney

Belmoney is a Belgian fintech company operating in the international money transfer (remittance) space. We're looking for a Middle/Senior Software Engineer to join our product team.

What you'll do
- Build and maintain fullstack solutions spanning frontend and backend
- Design and implement backend services (APIs, payment provider integrations, event processing)
- Work with cloud infrastructure to build resilient, scalable systems
- Contribute to product architecture decisions, participate in code reviews, mentor junior engineers
- Collaborate closely with product, DevOps, and compliance teams (KYC/AML, PSP flows)

Our stack
- Frontend: React, Next.js, TypeScript
- Backend: C# (.NET)
- Infrastructure: AWS (SQS, SNS, Lambda, EventBridge), Docker

What we're looking for




- 4+ years of commercial experience in fullstack/backend development
- Strong command of C#/.NET and solid frontend experience with TypeScript/React
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
- Solid understanding of distributed systems design principles
- English proficient enough for daily work communication

Nice to have
- Knowledge of Ukrainian and/or Russian is a strong plus — it will help with communication across part of our team and customer base
- Experience in fintech, payments, or banking
- Experience with event-driven architecture (SQS/SNS/Kafka)
- Familiarity with DevOps practices (CI/CD, IaC)
