About the role:
As an Trainee in AML/KYC, you are an integral part of the AML/KYC team in our Product Delivery department. Working directly alongside our Associates and Senior Associates in AML/KYC, you will gain hands-on experience in financial crime prevention, regulatory compliance, and digital fund administration. The internship will focus primarily on conducting initial alert analysis for ongoing monitoring and assisting with FATCA/CRS tax data remediation across investor, asset, and transaction profiles.

This position is based in Girona, Spain and reports directly to the Manager in AML/KYC.
Key Responsibilities:
Ongoing Alert Monitoring: Conduct initial investigations into ongoing screening hits and alerts generated by transaction monitoring systems or background screening databases under supervision.
FATCA/CRS Data Remediation: Assist in reviewing, inputting, and maintaining investor tax self-certifications and records to ensure FATCA/CRS eligibility, data accuracy, and audit readiness on the platform.
Document & Profile Management: Ensure that all investor, asset (KYA),



and transaction (KYT) compliance documents are correctly named and stored under the appropriate profiles on the platform.
Operational & Team Support: Support Associates and Senior Associates in gathering investor documentation via shared mailboxes, the fundcraft LP portal, or Vestlane.
Adhere to the latest checklists and guidance provided by the compliance department for task execution.
Qualifications & Experience:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, Economics, or a related field.
No prior full-time work experience required, but coursework or academic projects related to AML/CFT, compliance, FATCA/CRS, or data processing are a plus.
Digital-driven mindset with comfort in learning new software tools and digital platforms.
Fluency in English is required; Spanish or Catalan are a plus.
