About MSP Education Group
MSP Education Group is building a different education ecosystem, combining high-performance academic support with adaptable, personalised micro-schools.
Our schools are intentionally small, highly personalised and designed around students who benefit from greater flexibility, individual attention and an educational experience that goes beyond traditional models. As we continue to grow, maintaining exceptional academic quality and consistency becomes increasingly important.
We are looking for a School Psychologist / Educational Specialist who combines strong educational psychology expertise with the ability to coordinate academic support across the school. This is a unique role that blends student assessment, personalised intervention and family guidance with oversight of the day-to-day academic support systems that ensure every student receives the attention they need to succeed.
The Role
This role sits at the intersection of educational psychology and academic coordination.
You will maintain visibility over students' academic progress, learning needs and wellbeing while coordinating with teachers, families and school leaders to ensure that personalised support plans are implemented effectively. Alongside your specialist responsibilities, you will also help coordinate key academic processes, monitor interventions and contribute to the smooth day-to-day operation of the school's academic support system.
Your objective is simple: identify challenges early, coordinate effective solutions and ensure that every student receives the personalised support they need to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
Academic Coordination
- Support the day-to-day coordination of the school's academic support operation.
- Monitor student progress, attendance, behaviour and engagement.
- Coordinate academic interventions between teachers, tutors and support staff.
- Help ensure agreed academic actions are completed and followed through.
- Identify students requiring additional support before difficulties escalate.
- Maintain clear visibility of students' academic status and intervention progress.
- Collaborate with teachers to ensure consistency in curriculum delivery and student support.
- Participate in academic review meetings and contribute to educational decision-making.
Educational Psychology & Student Support
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments under appropriate professional standards.
- Administer aptitude tests, learning difficulty assessments and cognitive evaluations where appropriate.
- Identify individual learning profiles and educational needs.
- Design personalised learning and intervention plans for each student.
- Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and recommend adjustments when necessary.
- Monitor students' academic, emotional and behavioural development.
- Ensure no student requiring additional support becomes overlooked.
Family Guidance
- Meet regularly with families to understand both academic and emotional needs.
- Present assessment outcomes clearly and professionally.
- Prepare detailed progress reports.
- Maintain proactive and transparent communication with parents throughout the academic year.
- Advise families on educational pathways, specialist services and additional learning opportunities that may benefit each student.
Teacher Collaboration
- Work closely with teachers to implement personalised learning strategies.
- Provide guidance on supporting different learning profiles within the classroom.
- Monitor implementation of agreed educational adjustments.
- Facilitate communication between teaching staff and families.
- Support teachers in identifying students who may benefit from additional assessment or intervention.
Academic Quality & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor academic indicators including progress, attendance, intervention effectiveness and student wellbeing.
- Analyse patterns across student performance.
- Recommend practical improvements to student support processes.
- Use data to support educational decision-making.
- Contribute to developing increasingly personalised educational experiences across the school.
Success in the Role
Success is measured by the positive impact you create on students' academic development and wellbeing.
Within your first months, you will be expected to:
- Improve visibility of student learning needs.
- Identify at-risk students earlier.
- Strengthen communication between families and teachers.
- Ensure intervention plans are implemented consistently.
- Improve the effectiveness of personalised academic support.
- Help leadership gain a clearer understanding of students' academic health and progress.
- Contribute to creating an educational environment where every student receives the right support at the right time.
Who We're Looking For

What This Role Requires
You are:
- Passionate about helping students reach their full potential.
- Highly organised and proactive.
- An excellent communicator with both families and teachers.
- Calm, empathetic and solution-focused.
- Comfortable managing multiple students and priorities simultaneously.
- Confident discussing sensitive situations professionally.
- Analytical, detail-oriented and evidence-based in your decision-making.
