MISSION

The Low Carbon Transition Group (LCTG) is BNP Paribas’ dedicated investment banking team focused on supporting the general transition to a low-carbon economy. The LCTG team covers Power & Renewables, Low Carbon Solutions (hydrogen, carbon capture, fuel retail amongst other end-markets) and Transition Minerals & Metals.



The team is present in 4 main locations including Paris, Madrid, London and Frankfurt, covering Europe, Middle East & Africa and advises corporate clients, financial sponsors, and infrastructure investors on strategic and financial transactions across the energy transition sector.

Responsibilities

Perform financial analysis, valuation, and financial modeling (DCF, trading comparables, precedent transactions).
Support the execution of M&A;, capital raising, and strategic advisory mandates.
Prepare client presentations, pitch books, and marketing materials.
Conduct industry and company research focused on renewable energy, energy transition, decarbonization technologies, sustainable infrastructure and metals & mining.
Assist senior bankers throughout live transactions and business development initiatives.
Coordinate with product teams (ECM, DCM, Leveraged Finance, Project Finance) and industry coverage teams across BNP Paribas.
