About UrbanPay:

UrbanPay is building the payments and onboarding infrastructure for European real estate. We started with a problem we knew firsthand: co-living and flex-living operators are expected to scale their portfolios while managing increasingly complex resident journeys through disconnected systems.

Contracts can begin on different dates and last for weeks, months or longer. Operators must manage initial payments and recurring monthly rent across multiple properties, entities and collection schedules. In some cases, the person making the payment is not the resident, and every transaction must still be matched to the correct customer, contract, unit and property.

Most operators manage this through a combination of bank transfers, direct debits, card gateways, PDFs and spreadsheets. The result is slow onboarding, payment returns and chargebacks, fragmented information and hours of manual reconciliation.





UrbanPay brings identity verification, eIDAS-compliant contract signing and payments into one connected workflow. Operators can verify residents, sign contracts and collect initial and recurring monthly payments. Every transaction is automatically reconciled against the relevant customer, contract and property.

Through European Open Banking, UrbanPay’s account-to-account payments from supported European bank accounts settle instantly, have no chargebacks and cost from 0.25%. Funds travel directly from the payer’s bank to the operator’s account through regulated payment institutions and never sit on UrbanPay’s balance sheet.

Operators can start through a no-code dashboard or integrate UrbanPay into their existing systems through our API. We currently support complete workflows across more than 19 European markets.
