About the Role
As Estimator,
you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for Data Centre construction projects. This role involves analyzing project documentation, evaluating labor, materials, equipment, subcontractor costs, and identifying commercial risks to support bidding, budgeting, and project delivery activities.
Key Responsibilities
Reading and examining enquiry documentation to determine the requirements for the project.
Determining quantities from drawings or bills of quantities if provided.
Calculating material and labour costs from price lists.
Obtaining prices from sub-contractors for non-standard elements as necessary.
In conjunction with the Sales Director, Quantity Surveyor or Senior Project Manager, determining the contribution to be added to the costs to arrive at the overall selling figure.
Producing an estimate which includes tender report, specification, and any other relevant information to provide a clear and concise offer to carry out the wor
