At Hays, we are partnering with a leading international company seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Consultant to join a strategic project. This role is idóneo for professionals with strong expertise in backend development, event-driven architectures, cloud technologies, and data integration.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and services.
Build and optimize real-time data processing solutions using Kafka Streams and DMS Streaming.
Develop high-quality microservices using Java Spring Boot.
Integrate applications and third-party systems through APIs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
Contribute to cloud-native solutions hosted on AWS.
Support data analytics and reporting initiatives involving Databricks and Power BI.
Ensure best practices in version control, containerization,
and deployment processes.
Mandatory Requirements
Candidates must meet all the following requirements and have proven hands-on experience:
Strong experience with DMS Streaming and Kafka Streams.
Solid development experience with Java Spring Boot.
Experience integrating and consuming APIs.
Experience working with AWS cloud environments.
Knowledge of Databricks and Power BI.
Experience with GitHub and Docker.
Kafka Certification (mandatory).
Professional level of English.
Nice to Have
Experience with scheduling and workload automation tools, particularly Control-M.
