Job TypeGeneral DescriptionOversees compliance of established policies and procedures in accordance with banking laws, and regulations.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesExamines established policies, procedures, and practices to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Stays abreast of changes to banking laws, and regulations affecting the management, operations, and product offerings. Coordinates with legal counsel and operating and compliance departments to ensure adherence to laws and regulations related to new or revised products and services offerings. Oversees the revision, preparation, and dissemination of new and updated compliance standards and procedures. Coordinates, supervises, and supports compliance-related programs, such as compliance training, compliance testing and reporting, disaster recovery, and contingency planning. Manages and analyzes cases of potentially suspicious activity from the automated monitoring system.



Interacts with branch personnel regarding unusual activity or customer due diligence to determine if an appropriate resolution can be reached. Arranges compliance audits and communicate audit results and recommendations.Supervisory Responsibilities:This job has no supervisory responsibilities.EducationBachelor's degree in law, business administration, finance or related fields.ExperienceAt least three to five years related experience in compliance, preferably in banking industry.CertificationsCertified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS)Other QualificationsStrong knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (AML)/ , Know Your Customer (KYC), and financial crime prevention regulations.Ability to identify compliance risks, recommend corrective actions, and implement effective controls.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with regulators, senior management, and employees.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.Ability to prepar
