Finance Manager

Amentum is seeking a Finance Manager to support a unique US Navy program on the island of Diego Garcia. The Finance Manager will be responsible for leading financial operations, ensuring fiscal compliance, and providing strategic financial guidance to support program objectives. This position oversees accounting processes, budgeting, financial reporting, internal controls, and regulatory compliance while partnering with leadership to ensure financial management.

Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure alignment with program objectives and approved budgets.
- Ensure compliance with applicable U.S. Government regulations, company financial policies, and contractual requirements.
- Supervise financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll coordination, and financial clos activities.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and government stakeholders.
- Monitor cash flow, expenditures, revenue,



and financial performance to ensure program efficiency and fiscal responsibility.
- Ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement, and other applicable government financial regulations.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and respond to audit findings.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with company and customer expectations.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop finance personnel to promote professional growth and operational excellence.
- Foster collaboration across departments to support mission success and financial accountability.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned that are consistent with the nature and level of the position.
