Amentum, a general leader in advanced engineering, technical, and professional services serving the US government, allies, and critical infrastructure sectors, is seeking a Golf Course Marshall to support a unique US Navy program based on the island of Diego Garcia.

Job Responsibilities

The Golf Course Marshall is responsible for the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and customer service aspects of the golf facility, ensuring compliance with operational standards and providing an exceptional experience for patrons. This role includes oversight of the golf course, driving range, snack shop, and pro-shop. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Golf Course Operations:
Overseeing the daily operation and maintenance of the golf course, driving range, snack shop, and pro-shop.

Scheduling and coordinating tee times, tournaments, and special events to maximize the use of the golf facilities.

Developing and implementing policies and procedures in compliance with CNICINST 1710.3 Chapter 20 Sections 2004 and 2008.

Ensuring the cleanliness, safety,



and readiness of facilities and grounds.

Staff Management:
Supervising, training, and scheduling staff to ensure smooth operations across all areas of the facility.

Monitoring staff performance and providing guidance to ensure excellent service delivery.

Creating a positive work environment to enhance team productivity and customer satisfaction.

Customer Service and Retail Oversight:
Managing the daily operations of the snack shop and pro-shop, ensuring inventory control and proper stock levels.

Ensuring high standards of customer service, addressing customer needs, and resolving concerns promptly.

Coordinating food and beverage services to provide a quality experience for golfers and other visitors.

Facility and Course Maintenance:
Ensuring the golf course and driving range are maintained to meet required standards for appearance and playability.
