Overview and Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Private Chef for an UHNW Principal for their Barcelona residence, with a salary on offer of €55,000-€70,000 per year

Job description

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing fresh, healthy and varied meals primarily for the Principal, occasional guests and household staff.

Travel with the Principal is not routinely required.

Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare three meals per day, primarily for the Principal alone, however they do host guests so more may be required at times
- Prepare meals for household staff where required
- Create healthy, fresh and seasonal menus with an emphasis on quality ingredients, balanced nutrition and variety
- Develop menus that suit the Principal’s preferences and dietary requirements
- Occasionally plan and execute dinner parties and private entertaining
- Manage menu planning, food preparation and kitchen service
- Take full responsibility for provisioning,



including market shopping and sourcing high-quality ingredients
- Build and maintain relationships with local suppliers and markets
- Maintain kitchen stock, inventories and purchasing
- Keep the residence kitchen exceptionally clean, organised and professionally maintained
- Work independently and manage the kitchen with mínimal supervision
- Assist with service when required during private dinners and entertaining
- A staff car is available at the residence for shopping and other work-related requirements.
- Professionally trained Chef with strong culinary experience
- Previous experience in a private household, boutique hotel, luxury restaurant or similar high-end environment
- Strong knowledge of healthy, Mediterranean and seasonal cuisine
- Creative and adaptable approach to menu planning
- Comfortable cooking regularly for a single Principal and keeping menus varied and interesting
- Experienced in prepa
