Freelance SAP Project Manager - S/4HANA Implementation - Bilbao, Spain - September Start
We are currently seeking an experienced Freelance SAP Project Manager to join a major SAP S/4HANA implementation programme for a leading client based in Bilbao, Spain.
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Initial 6 months with a strong likelihood of extension
The Role
As the SAP Project Manager, you will lead the successful delivery of key workstreams within a large-scale SAP S/4HANA implementation. You will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and implementation partners to ensure the project is delivered on time, within scope, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of SAP S/4HANA implementation activities
- Oversee project planning, governance, budgets, risks, and timelines




- Coordinate internal teams, external partners, and key stakeholders
- Provide regular project status updates to senior management
- Drive issue resolution and ensure successful project execution
- Support business readiness and change management activities

Required Experience
- Proven track record delivering SAP implementation projects as a Project Manager
- Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA programmes
- Excellent stakeholder and vendor management skills
- Experience working in complex enterprise environments
- Fluent Spanish and strong English communication skills
- Ability to work in a hybrid model from Bilbao
