Role Purpose
Omilia Cyber is looking for a Senior Cloud Security Engineer with strong DevOps expertise to safeguard our AWS cloud ecosystem. Core to the role: adopting GitOps methodologies, developing Terraform, and executing secure updates through CI/CD pipelines. The role leads strategic security projects, automates protection mechanisms,



and partners across teams to strengthen cloud security posture.
Accountabilities:
Design, implement, and manage security policies using a Policy as Code approach; write Terraform and deploy changes via peer-reviewed CI/CD pipelines.
Integrate and maintain automated security scanning tools within CI/CD pipelines to catch misconfigurations before they are merged.
Monitor, manage, and respond to findings using CSPM/CNAPP tools; drive remediation of cloud risks, threats, misconfigurations, and compliance violations with engineering teams.
Identify and implement cloud controls to strengthen security posture, and validate controls are enforced across the entire cloud ecosystem.
Design and implement automation that detects non-compliance and self-heals in real time.
