Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Madrid and Barcelona for an Interior Designer / Interior Architect / FF&E; Designer / Interior Design Project Manager at Episode. The role involves developing interior concepts, space plans, and design schemes for hospitality projects, ensuring alignment with brand standards, and project budgets. Responsibilities include preparing detailed concept, shcematic, and design development drawings, coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors, and overseeing FF&E; selection, specification, and sourcing. The position also includes managing project timelines, monitoring quality on-site, resolving design-related issues during construction, and presenting design proposals and material boards to clients and internal stakeholders. Documentation, coordination of revisions, and maintaining clear communication across multidisciplinary teams are central to the day-to-day work.
Qualifications
5–10 years of proven experience
Strong skills in Space Planning and Interior Design,



with the ability to optimize layouts for functionality, aesthetics, and user experience.
Knowledge of Architecture, MEP and Construction Drawings, including the ability to produce, read, and coordinate technical plans and details.
Demonstrated expertise in FF&E; and OS&E;, including selection, specification, budgeting, and vendor coordination.
Proficiency in industry-standard design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite).
Experience managing interior design projects from concept through completion, including scheduling, and stakeholder coordination.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly convey design intent to clients, consultants, and contractors.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced studio environment.
