A Day in the Life As a Marketing Intern, you will report to the Customer Marketing Manager for the Benelux countries. At times, you may also support a wider Northern European scope, including the Nordics, the UK, Ireland, and France, where needed. You will work closely with an experienced senior marketer who supports interns across different scopes and geographies. In this role, you will gain exposure to neuromodulation therapies and innovative solutions, including deep brain stimulation, spinal cord stimulation, targeted drug delivery, and brain tumor ablation. This internship will give you hands‑on experience in a dynamic, international marketing environment and the opportunity to build practical skills in event coordination, content creation, and stakeholder collaboration.
Internship Details
- Start date: 15th September / 1st October 2026
- Location: Madrid, Spain
- Duration: 12 months (extendable + 6 months)
- Working hours: 40 hours per week
- Work model: Hybrid (2 days per week in the office)
Internship agreement Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned
- Support the development of event marketing materials, including invitations, brochures, digital content, and patient brochures, as well as their translation, approval, and printing for sales use.
- Assist with social media and email marketing activities to promote events and engage attendees, while ensuring brand consistency across all materials.
- Support the planning and execution of congresses, trade shows, and internal events, including coordination with internal teams and external vendors on venue selection, catering, and audiovisual setup.
- Maintain event timelines, schedules, records, vendor agreements, and post‑event reports, and support contract coordination for customer events.
- Liaise with healthcare professionals, partners, sponsors, and attendees to ensure successful participation, manage registrations, and gather feedback.
- Manage the supply process for the sales teams to ensure products reach hospitals in time for surgeries across the region.
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Recently graduated or in the final year of studies in Business, Marketing, Health Sciences, or a related field
- Fluency in English (C1 level), with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- High organizational skills, proactivity, teamwork, and a willingness to learn and take on new challenges
Would be a plus
- French or Dutch language skills
- Experience working with AI tools in a business environment
