Senior DevOps Engineer Barcelona (El Prat de Llobregat) | Hybrid (3 days remote)Are you passionate about automation, platform reliability, and modern infrastructure? We're looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a growing Middleware team and play a key role in the modernization of critical platforms and services used by customers worldwide.This is an opportunity to work across multiple projects, helping drive infrastructure automation, CI/CD excellence, and operational reliability while collaborating with engineering, database, IT, product, and R&D; teams.What You'll Be Doing• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting software deployments across multiple sites and datacenters.• Operate and evolve on-premises Kubernetes environments and legacy platforms hosting business-critical applications.• Drive Infrastructure as Code initiatives and automation strategies to improve consistency, scalability, and operational efficiency.• Implement and enhance monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure platform reliability and observability.• Troubleshoot complex production issues, perform Root Cause Analysis, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.• Support software release processes, automated testing, system performance analysis, and platform optimization.• Lead automation efforts using technologies such as Ansible, Terraform, and Kubernetes.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Database, IT Operations, Product, Project Management, and R&D.What; We're Looking ForTechnical Skills• Experience in DevOps, SRE, IT Operations, or Production Engineering.• Kubernetes and containerized environments, including on-premises platforms.• CI/CD with GitLab CI, Jenkins,
or Argo CD.• Infrastructure as Code and automation with Ansible, Terraform, or Helm.• Strong Linux and Windows administration skills.• Production support and troubleshooting of Java applications.• Knowledge of MS SQL Server and/or Oracle.• VMware ESXi and basic networking knowledge.• Monitoring and observability with Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.• Understanding of microservices and modern application architectures.• Good command of English, written and spoken.Soft Skills• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.• Passion for automation, reliability, and continuous improvement.• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively across teams.• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management.• Fluent English.About the TeamYou'll join the Middleware (ePayments) team, supporting critical platforms including the company's Data Center infrastructure and customer-facing products.
