QHSSE Manager – Spain (Madrid HQ)

We're working with a leading aviation organisation to appoint a QHSSE Manager to drive safety, compliance, and operational excellence across multiple stations in Spain.

This is a senior leadership role with full ownership of Quality, Health, Safety, Security & Environmental standards across a complex, multi-site operation.

The Opportunity

You'll be responsible for shaping and embedding a best-in-class QHSSE culture, ensuring full compliance with aviation regulations, and driving continuous improvement across all operational sites.

This is a high-impact, strategic role with strong visibility across leadership, customers, and regulatory bodies.

What You'll Be Doing

- Leading QHSSE strategy across all Spanish operations - Ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, ISAGO, ICAO & IATA standards - Driving risk management,



incident investigation & corrective actions - Leading internal & external audits and regulatory engagement - Developing Business Continuity Plans & Emergency Response Plans - Delivering training, awareness, and cultural change programmes - Acting as the Aviation Security lead (PNS compliance) - Partnering with senior stakeholders across operations, airlines & authorities

What We're Looking For

- 10+ years' experience in QHSSE leadership within aviation / logistics / industrial environments - Strong background in ground handling or air cargo operations - Deep knowledge of ISAGO, IGOM, ICAO & IATA frameworks - Proven ability to lead multi-site, international operations - Strong experience in auditing, compliance & continuous improvement - Recognised Health & Safety certification - Fluent in Spanish & English - Comfortable with regular travel across Spain
