What does it take to run the people operation for AI research teams whose models drive a live gasifier's controls? This is an HR Intern building the hiring and onboarding playbook for HR Group Management at Zero-X, the engineering company turning waste into clean power. Zero-X is on Fast Company's Most Innovative Companies list (Energy, 2018), funded by Projekträger Jülich (PTJ), the German federal research agency, and runs the Cometha project ("Waste to Methane") for the City of Paris. What you leave with is the proof employers hire on: a real people-operations stack built under live conditions, not a binder. Everyone has a degree. Almost nobody has proof.

A candidate evaluation rubric ties real artefacts,

A weekly people-operations dashboard shows every open seat, stage, and stall.
The first-week onboarding file gets a new researcher to the gasifier data by Friday.

Who this is for
