The short version
Citizen Remote is one of the largest independent platforms for people relocating abroad — digital nomad visas, residency, expat setup. We get 40,000–60,000 visitors a month, all of them people actively trying to move countries.
We've built the traffic, the content, the advisor network, and the payment infrastructure. What we haven't done is put someone full-time on turning that audience into a business.
That's the role. You take the wheel.
What you'd actually be doing
Owning the funnel. We have serious traffic and a clear path from "researching a visa" to "paying for help getting one." Closing that gap is the central problem of this job. How you do it is up to you.
Getting on calls. Talking to people who are anxious about uprooting their life and making them feel like they're in good hands. You don't need a sales background. You need to actually like this part.
Running the advisor network. We work with independent immigration lawyers, relocation consultants, and service providers across Europe and beyond. You'd own those relationships: quality, responsiveness,
and making sure clients get what they paid for.
Deciding what we build next. We have a subscription product in the pipeline and a clear map of adjacent revenue lines. You'd have real input on sequencing — and real say in what ships.
Who this is for
You're probably already living abroad, or you've done it. You know what it's like to sit on hold with a foreign consulate at 6am. That lived experience is worth more here than a resume.
You should genuinely enjoy talking to people. Not tolerate it — enjoy it. A meaningful part of this job is being on video with a stranger who is nervous about a big decision.
You should be the kind of person who tries twelve things and keeps the two that work. Nobody is going to hand you a playbook.
You should want ownership more than you want structure. If that sounds like freedom, read on. If it sounds like being abandoned, this isn't the role.
