Title: Microsoft SCCM OSD Senior Consultant

Job Description:

• Design, develop, and maintain Microsoft SCCM Operating System Deployment (OSD) solutions for enterprise environments.

• Create and manage SCCM Task Sequences for standalone ISO deployments, and refresh scenarios based on customer requirements.

• Build, customize, and maintain Boot Images (WinPE) including required drivers, optional components, and deployment configurations.

• Create, package, and manage hardware driver packages for multiple OEM vendors including HP, Lenovo devices.

• Update and maintain production operating system images to support new hardware models and evolving business requirements.

• Develop and maintain reference images and capture Task Sequences for enterprise operating system deployments.

• Perform driver management activities including driver injection, model targeting, validation, and troubleshooting production driver-related issues.

• Develop, enhance, and maintain PowerShell scripts and automation components used within SCCM Task Sequences.

• Lead migration activities from MDT to SCCM OSD, including migration of custom scripts written in PS, batch, VBS, automation workflows, and deployment processes.

• Manage BIOS configuration and firmware deployment activities for HP and Lenovo devices, including BIOS password administration, configuration baselines, and BIOS updates.

• Configure and maintain SCCM deployment infrastructure components including Distribution Points, Content Management, Boundary Groups,



and OSD-related site configurations.

• Troubleshoot complex imaging, deployment, driver, application installation, domain join, and task sequence failures across multiple geographical locations.

• Analyse SCCM logs and deployment failures using SMSTS.log, DISM logs, setup logs, and vendor-specific diagnostic tools.

• Provide L3 support for critical imaging and deployment incidents, including handling P1 and P2 production issues within defined SLAs.

• Collaborate with infrastructure, endpoint management, security, networking, and workplace teams to ensure successful operating system deployments.

• Perform testing, validation, and certification of new hardware models prior to production rollout.

• Manage Windows OS build lifecycle activities including image maintenance, patch integration, application updates, and operating system feature upgrades.

• Maintain documentation, SOPs, knowledge articles, deployment standards, and technical procedures related to SCCM OSD services.

• Participate in change management processes, CAB reviews, release planning, and production implementations related to endpoint deployment solutions.

• Support enterprise-scale Windows 10/Windows 11 deployment, refresh, replacement, and migration projects.

• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and enterprise deployment standards.
