Alén Space is a New Space company focused on the development of nanosatellite-based missions, as well as related products and services. Our mission is to help our clients develop their business plans by designing, manufacturing, and operating satellites to carry out the applications they need.

Although Alén Space is a young company, our team has been involved in several complete nanosatellite missions—from specification to delivery—over the past 15 years. The Alén Space technical team is made up of professionals in Systems Engineering, Electronics, AIV, Software, Operations, DSP, Project Management, and much more, with extensive experience in IOD, communications, commercial, and scientific missions, working with public and private institutions such as the European Space Agency.

Alén Space’s value proposition lies in the flexibility and experience of our team. We use our own design and testing methodologies, which allow the use of components from multiple suppliers, to create the most suitable platform for each mission. For more than a decade, all our nanosatellite missions have been fully designed in-house, following this multi-supplier approach, resulting in a 100% on-orbit success rate for all launched missions.

At Alén Space, quality and flexibility in design, manufacturing, and testing are hallmarks of the company. Process quality is achieved through thorough testing and verification procedures, maintaining traceability of all executed activities.



Flexibility is achieved thanks to our close relationship with customers and our supplier-agnostic approach. This relationship aims not only to facilitate communication but also to allow our commercial clients to play an active role in design aspects. In this context, we design more adaptable spacecraft platforms that can adapt to subsystem supplier changes without significantly impacting the overall mission.

Our Systems

Engineering and AIV professionals work closely with customers to support decision-making and actively involve them throughout the process.

Our team applies a working methodology based on the strict quality standards set by the European Space Agency (ESA) and the European Cooperation for Space Standardization (ECSS). All our management, systems engineering, and AIV processes are based on these standards.
