Who we look for
MPS isseekinga highly self-motivated intern with passion for hardware and good knowledge power electronic. He will support the validation of our new integrated circuits (IC) for high voltageapplications(including DC/DC, current sensors, isolated driver) working inside our hardware department.
Tasks
- Design simulated and validated power electronics circuits to meet the required specifications.
- Prepare hardware and software setups, together with our hardware & simulation team, to be able to measure all required parameters of our IC.
- Develop schematic and PCB to fornew solutions.
- Develop device modeling (spice)
- Work with IC design team to debug and troubleshoot the device under test.
- Generate documentation and reports with all performed test.
Qualifications
- MS in Electrical or Electronic Engineering; Subjects related to power electronics and control are desired.
- Hands-on experience in verification and troubleshooting electronic circuits (firmware and hardware).
- Experienceinthe use of electronic laboratory equipment including oscilloscope and spectrum analyzer.
- Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
- Good oral and written skills for communication and documentation
