Experteer Overview
In this role, you will advance Elastic’s integrations with AI ecosystems by building and evolving backend surfaces and developer tooling. You will contribute to the MCP server, universal agent skills, and the Elastic CLI to help developers ship cross-platform capabilities. You’ll work closely with product teams and partners to shape high-impact integrations and ensure correctness through evaluation. This is a fast-moving role that values clear opinions and hands-on delivery. You will join a distributed, collaborative team focused on making Elastic easy to find, connect to, and use across ecosystems.

Compensaciones / Ventajas
• Build and evolve the Elastic MCP server and supporting infrastructure (Go)
• Develop the platform for universal agent skills, including format, authoring/publishing tooling, and linting
• Maintain quality by enforcing evaluation-based correctness for skills and tools
• Design and deliver integrations for Elastic in third-party AI ecosystems
• Contribute to the Elastic CLI to improve developer efficiency
• Develop, maintain,



and support libraries, tools, and integrations related to the Elastic Stack across Go and Rust
• Provide product thinking and defend reasons for what to build within the ecosystem
• Collaborate with product teams and external partners to land integrations

Responsabilidades
• 8+ years of backend software engineering experience
• Proficiency with AI/ML frameworks and understanding of LLMs, agents, and MCP protocol
• Strong Go experience; familiarity with other languages; willingness to learn new ones
• Knowledge of client-server networking, HTTP, RESTful APIs
• Ability to read and contribute to codebases in unfamiliar languages
• Good software engineering practices and product-minded thinking
• Excellent communication and collaboration, including with customers and partners
• Willingness to work in a remote, globally distributed team
• Self-motivated with ability to learn independently
