Experteer Overview
In this role you will drive data governance across Galderma, ensuring high-quality master data and standardized practices across the organization. You will collaborate with global product teams and functions to improve data value and reliability, and lead training and communication efforts to promote proper data management. You’ll manage metadata, data dictionaries, and change processes to minimize cycle times while protecting data integrity. Based in Barcelona, you will support general capabilities and cross-functional projects that underpin the company’s dermatology leadership and growth.

• Support the implementation of the data governance roadmap
• Act as first-line support for Global Product Master Data and address data quality queries
• Collaborate with business and functional owners to improve data quality and value of core data assets
• Develop and maintain up-to-date training materials and deliver sessions
• Contribute to communication strategies for company-wide awareness of data management practices
• Define data standards and practices to ensure data completeness, consistency and accuracy
• Develop performance indicators and data quality metrics
• Create and maintain a centralized enterprise data dictionary with clear definitions and usage guidelines
• Coordinate with stakeholders to manage updates and communicate changes




• Provide guidance and training to teams using the data dictionary
• Oversee data-related change requests, prioritization, solution design, and implementation
• Analyze impact of data changes on upstream/downstream processes and reporting
• Identify inefficiencies in data change processes and propose enhancements
• Develop clear communication plans for upcoming changes and expected impacts
• Act as liaison between technical teams and business users during change implementation
• Oversee testing of data changes to ensure accuracy and integrity

Responsabilidades
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Computer Science
• 3-5 years of experience in Master Data Management, Product Data Management, Data Governance, Supply Chain or related roles (e.g., MDM, SAP MDG, Data Quality)
• Solid understanding of data models, data dictionaries and enterprise data architecture
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MDM platforms (e.g., Informatica)
• Familiarity with data governance frameworks
• SQL knowledge for querying and analyzing data
• Experience with data visualization/analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus
• Ability to manage cross-functional initiatives and collaborate with senior stakeholders
• Proficiency in metadata management and data governance tools
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
