¿What are we looking for?

You'll join to the Spain team from La Laguna (Tenerife – Canary Islands) to work on the maintenance and development of our products in the Custom area. One of the important aspects for them is that everyone has the freedom of expression to propose their own ideas and to express their creativity. They appreciate good quality in code development, follow SOLID principles intended to make their software designs more understandable, flexible and maintainable.

You will work mainly with modern Cloud technologies following an agile methodology and will be directly involved in the design and implementation of new development strategies.

¿What would your tasks be?





- Work with our development infrastructure and optimise CI/CD pipelines.
- Manage multiple Kubernetes clusters
- Configuration of Azure DevOps and CaaS and development of automation processes with Ansible or similar tools.
- Assist with the migration of our legacy applications from our in-house data center to Azure
- Configure monitoring tools such as Prometheus or Grafana to detect and troubleshoot performance issues, and handle monitoring and logging of different platforms to ensure they are always available and stable.
- Analyse and investigate potential bottlenecks and propose technical solutions
- Improve operational processes to the point of automating installations and upgrades.
- Suggest proposals for improvements, security needs, best practices, etc.
- Implementation of best practices for running software on Linux systems and Kubernetes.
- It will be valued with the candidate that he/she is able and willing to help maximum 25% of his/her time, in small IT tasks.

Requirements:

¿What do they need from you?

- +2 years experience as DevOps in cloud platforms and environments.
- Dockerised environments and use of platforms such as Kubernetes, Azure DevOps, Bamboo.
- Minimum English level B2 (certificate not required).
- Automation with Ansible or similar.
- Knowledge of Helm charts.




- Recommended monitoring tools such as Prometheus or Grafana
- It is recommended if you live in the Canary Islands, but not essential
- Experience in IT to help with small infrastructure tasks (maximum 25% of your time) is valuable.
- Resolute person, willing to face new challenges and continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as KVM, Xen or VMware.
- Experience with: Linux systems, CI/CD, CaaS, infrastructure as code and extensions such as Elastic and Kibana as well as knowledge of YAML & YML ,GPG encryption, GitHub configuration, DB configuration, SSL certificates, scripts (Bash, Powershell) and databases (Oracle, MongoDB, PostgreSQL) as well as TOMCAT.
