Business Analyst / Consultant – ERP (JD Edwards)

We are looking for Business Analysts to support a global pharmaceutical transformation programme. The role will focus on translating business requirements into functional solutions across finance, controlling, ordering, and indirect procurement, with particular expertise in JD Edwards.

Start Date: 1 November 2026

Duration: 12 months with a possible extension

Location: Madrid, Spain

Working Model: Hybrid – 2–3 days per week in the Madrid office

Languages: English and Spanish required

Key Responsibilities

- Translate business requirements into clear functional requirements and effective process solutions.
- Support finance, controlling, ordering, and indirect procurement processes.
- Work with JD Edwards as the primary ERP platform; knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365/Navision is an advantage.
- Support business process transition and integration towards SAP.
- Collaborate with integral and local stakeholders, as well as Shared Service Centre teams.
- Support GxP-regulated processes within a pharmaceutical environment.




- Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams.
- Contribute to a project-based transformation environment through 2027/28.

Requirements

- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within finance, procurement, ERP, or business transformation.
- Strong experience with JD Edwards; Oracle/JD Edwards experience is highly desirable.
- Proven experience translating business requirements into functional requirements and process improvements.
- Strong understanding of finance, controlling, and procurement processes, particularly indirect procurement.
- Experience working with Shared Service Centres and geographically distributed teams.
- Pharmaceutical or GxP experience is strongly preferred.
- Exposure to SAP transformation or migration projects is an advantage.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across business and technology teams.
