Experteer Overview
In this role you serve as the technical bridge between QIAGEN and strategic injection-molded plastic component suppliers.

You will ensure quality, reliability, and continuous improvement across manufacturing processes, working with cross-functional teams to address design, tooling, and process challenges.

You’ll lead CAPA investigations and help define acceptance criteria and inspection methods, while driving supplier-led digitalization and efficiency gains.

This onsite position in Barcelona offers the chance to shape manufacturing excellence and supplier collaboration at scale.

Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Act as primary technical contact for suppliers on quality, manufacturing, and process topics
• Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to resolve design, tooling, manufacturing, and product quality challenges
• Lead root cause investigations of deviations and support CAPA implementations
• Support development and improvement of acceptance criteria, inspection methods, and quality standards
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to align production capacities with business needs




• Drive supplier-driven continuous improvement and digitalization to boost efficiency and data quality
• Monitor industry trends and regulatory developments to identify opportunities for innovation and process excellence

Responsabilidades
• Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
• Experience with injection molding, plastics manufacturing, supplier engineering/quality, or related manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of quality systems, inspection methodologies, root cause analysis, CAPA, and continuous improvement
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex technical decisions
• Proven ability to collaborate across functions and build relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Fluent English (written and verbal); Spanish and German a plus
