Experteer Overview
In this role you ensure the quality and reliability of autonomous mobile robot software releases. You will join the validation team, working hands-on with robotic platforms to execute validation across features and releases, while driving process improvements and automation. You will collaborate across software and systems engineers to identify root causes and raise release readiness. This position sits within ABB Robotics, contributing to high-impact robot deployments in cross‑regional teams. You’ll be part of a mission to deliver robust, real-world capable robotics solutions.

Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Execute and document validation activities for new features, bug fixes, and software releases on robotic platforms
• Investigate test failures, reproduce issues, identify root causes, and verify fixes with development teams
• Maintain and extend manual and automated test suites; collaborate with test automation to increase coverage
• Improve validation workflows, environments, and release readiness criteria to boost testing efficiency and product quality




• Work hands-on with robotic platforms to validate performance across diverse customer environments

Responsabilidades
• Degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field with a focus on robotic systems
• Hands-on experience with robotic platforms or other complex hardware-software systems for testing, integration, or troubleshooting
• Industrial experience in software testing, validation engineering, or systems engineering is a plus
• Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with Linux-based systems
• Experience executing and documenting structured validation or test activities
• Analytical mindset with root-cause analysis and systematic issue resolution
• Familiarity with robotics concepts such as localization, navigation, perception, or AMRs; ROS a plus
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; fluency in English
