My Brussels based client is seeking an Business Analyst to join the team on a contract assignment ( approximately 5 months initially with extensions likely ) The working model is hybrid, but largely remote working with a few days per month on the customer site. Candidates should have solid Business Analysis experience and experience of modelling tools, BPMN or UML, agile working environments and Jira.
Tasks and responsibilities of the Business Analyst
Preparing business and functional requirements, use cases, diagrams, test case, eliciting requirements, stakeholder management.
Business model and process analysis, and business processes modelling.
Preparing Functional Specifications and data dictionaries.
Analysis for low code / no code technological solutions.
Analyse documents delivered by stakeholders and prepare their implementation.
Participate in the release planning meetings to propose requirements to be implemented.
Organising analysis meetings, managing the relationship with the project owners.
Proposing the UI-UX design compliant with European User Interface guidelines.
Required skills and experience of the Business Analyst
- Master's degree in IT with minimum 13 years of relevant experience (or Bachelor's degree and minimum of 17 years relevant experience).
- At least 6 years of specific expertise in analysis and modelling tools and techniques (use case diagram, state diagram, entity relationship model, interaction diagrams etc.).
- At least 6 years of specific expertise in BPMN or UML or other with equivalent value.
- At least 3 years of specific expertise in software development methodologies (e.g. Agile).
- At least 3 years of specific expertise in working with Jira.
- Strong capacity in preparing and writing business analysis.
- Capability to speak to business and technical audiences.
- Proficiency in English language at a minimum C1 level.
