AI Engineer/Bot Builder | Flemish Region | Freelance

Location: Flemish Region (Hybrid)

Duration: 6 months minimum, extensions included

Home office arrangement: Hybrid (2 days on-site)

Montash are currently seeking an AI Engineer to join a large Belgian enterprise organisation on an initial 6 month freelance contract, with a strong likelihood of extension.

Key Responsibilities

- Build conversational and GenAI bots in Microsoft Copilot Studio, from topic design through to production release
- Contribute to the platform and framework layer, including reusable components, connector standards, environment strategy and DLP policy
- Integrate bots with business data and services using Microsoft Power Platform and Azure
- Test bots rigorously across conversation flows, edge cases, response quality and escalation paths
- Work directly with business stakeholders to translate use cases into bots that get adopted
- Document the bot onboarding process to accelerate future delivery




- Support the wider governance model for how GenAI bots are approved, released and monitored

Requirements

- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse)
- Demonstrable build experience in Copilot Studio or Power Virtual Agents
- Applied working knowledge of Microsoft Azure
- Native Dutch, spoken and written (essential)
- Experience with structured testing of applications or conversational flows

Desirable

- Azure OpenAI, RAG patterns or prompt engineering experience
- Microsoft certifications such as PL-200, PL-400, PL-600 or AI-102
- Power Platform ALM experience (solutions, pipelines, environment strategy)
- Previous experience in a large enterprise or regulated environment
- Test automation background
