Who you are

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field

- Some coursework or prior exposure to Accounting and/or Accounts Receivable is a plus, but not required

- Solid Microsoft Excel skills, with the ability to log and process large amounts of data

- Experience with NetSuite is a plus

- Comfortable working in cross-functional teams

- Fluency in English and Spanish

- Excellent time and self-management skills, ability to prioritize, and multitask

- Eagerness to learn in a fast-paced, early or mid-stage startup environment

What the job involves

- We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Intern to join our team in Barcelona.

- Working with and reporting directly to the Accounts Receivable Manager, you will support the accounts receivables monthly close process, invoice accounts, coordination of monthly transfers, and report preparation, among others.

- This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who enjoys exposure to new and exciting challenges, with the possibility of transitioning into a full-time role based on performance

- Support reconciliation of invoices and bills, and help verify balances to the general ledger





- Participate in the Accounts Receivables monthly close process

- Help summarize receivables by maintaining invoice accounts, coordinating monthly transfers to the accounts receivable account, verifying totals, and preparing reports

- Assist in resolving invalid or unauthorized deductions by following pending deductions procedures

- Support monthly cash reconciliation for all operating accounts

- Assist with routine month-end accounting functions (recording of accruals, balance sheet account reconciliations, etc.)

- Support the recording of related journal entries
