Junior to mid-level. Full-time. Remote in Europe, EU citizens. Copenhagen, Barcelona, or Rome preferred.

About us

We are Bifrost Forge's brand and product agency. Small, senior, and built from the start around AI. We run brand and product engagements end to end: strategy, brand identity, product and experience design, validation, and a build-ready handover.

We also build our own companies. Bifrost Forge is a venture studio, and this agency is part of how those ventures get validated. So the work splits two ways: client engagements where we are the agency, and our own ventures where we are the founders. You will do both.

We compete on the sharpness of the thinking, the quality of the craft, and how fast we can make an idea real enough to test. We are not a body shop and we do not sell hours.

Two things make working here different. First, our deliverable is increasingly a running system rather than a PDF: a brand as tokens and workflows that can be generated against, not a set of rules someone hopes people follow. Second, the studio genuinely runs on agents.

We have already built them: a bench that researches, reviews, and red-teams, and a build engine that turns a concept into a real site or product flow. Production is automated. The messy, argumentative part where the idea actually comes from is protected on purpose.

The role

You own how the work looks, and you own the quality bar on what our agents produce.

Half of that is classic brand design. You take a brief and a strategy and within days you have three real directions on screen, not descriptions of directions. You turn the one that wins into a design system the build engine reads directly, so the prototype inherits the brand instead of reinterpreting it.

The other half is newer, and it is the reason this role exists. Our agents already do a lot of the making. What they need is someone with a design eye standing over the output: deciding what is good enough, saying precisely why when it is not, and then turning that judgement into something the agents inherit next time. You will extend the design agents we have and build the generative workflows that let a direction be pushed further without you in the loop for every asset.

You will be the design voice in a small senior team, working straight with the founders, with clients, and on our own ventures. There is no account layer,

and there is nobody to hide behind.

What you will do

- Author brand directions: territories, moodboards, type, colour, composition, art direction.
- Get to something shown and testable fast. Real pages and clickable flows, not slides about pages.
- Hold the craft bar on agent output. Review it, sharpen it, and write the standard down so it holds next time.
- Extend our design agents and build prompt and reference kits per brand, so generative production stays on-brand.
- Write the design system as tokens, and keep it the source of truth for the build.
- Brand our own ventures from zero, as part of deciding whether they are real.
- Present the work and defend the decisions, to clients and internally.
- Push craft on our own brand too: proposals, decks, the studio's own system.
- Leave the toolkit better than you found it. What you invent for one project gets promoted into the base kit.

Who you are Your portfolio shows identity work where you made the calls, not only execution inside someone else's guidelines. Type, colour, composition, and layout are things you have opinions about.

You have shipped work where a generative tool did real labour, and you can say exactly what you did to it afterwards and where the model let you down.

You can say why something is not good enough, not just that it is not. That is most of this job.

You are fluent in Figma and comfortable inside a tokenised system, not just artboards.

You are happy for work to end as a live URL. You can direct AI build tools well enough to move a prototype forward and to notice when the output is wrong.

You have probably already built a couple of systems of your own with AI flows, and maybe you build agents too. Not a requirement, but if you have wired up a workflow that makes design work happen without you doing every step, tell us about it. That is a lot of what this job is.

You want range from AI, not just speed. More territory explored, weirder places reached, higher standard held.

Roughly two to five years, but we read the work rather than the CV. If your work is right and your years are wrong, apply.

Bonus points

- Motion or generative video.
- You have built agents, or wired up a workflow with something like Claude Code, n8n, ComfyUI, or whatever you reached for.
- Early-stage or venture work, branding something from nothing.
- Nordic market experience, or regulated sectors like financial services.
- You have built your own small tool or workflow.
- You can read front-end code well enough to know what is possible.
- What we give you
- Direct work with the founders, on real client engagements and on our own companies, from week one. Small team, so your work ships.
- Ownership of the design side of the agent stack. Not using someone else's tools, extending them.
- Time and budget for the tools. New models are part of the job, not a side interest.
- A real say in how the studio's own taste gets defined, at a point where it is still being written.
- Paid three to six month trial to start, converting to a permanent role.
- A written development plan with named mentoring, rather than "you will figure it out."
- Remote in Europe, with regular time together in person if you are near one of our bases.

How to apply Send us: Three or four projects. Not everything. For each, one or two lines on what the problem was and what you decided.

One piece where a generative tool did real work, and a short note on what you changed afterwards and where the model failed you. This is the answer we read most closely.

A CV or a link. No cover letter.

Rolling basis, and we reply to everyone within ten working days.

The process is four stages: a 30-minute screening call, a one-hour conversation where you present your own projects back to us, a case study on a real brief from our work, then a final conversation and offer. In the case study, use whatever AI tools you would normally use. We want to see how you actually work, not whether you can work without them.

If any part of this process is hard to access for you, tell us and we will adapt it.

We build a team where different people can do their best work, and we hire on the work.

We use AI tools to help review applications. They assist the decision, they do not make it. A human reads every application.
