Why this role matters:
As the CNC and Workshop Assistant on the HAPS team, you'll help keep our manufacturing and lab operations running smoothly. You will set up and support our CNC machines and workshop equipment, keep our growing fleet of machines and 3D printers in good working order, and make sure incoming materials and components move quickly and reliably from the loading dock to the right shelf. As our lab and workshop continue to grow in size and complexity, this role is central to keeping everything organised, available, and ready to use - so that engineers and technicians across teams can focus on building rather than searching, fixing, or waiting.

Your day-to-day responsibilities
Machine set up and operation: Prepare and set up CNC machines for jobs, including tooling changes, fixturing, and programming as needed.
Maintenance operations: Carry out monthly maintenance
