Data Engineer - Digital Banking Platform

We are currently looking for 3 Data Engineers to join an international project focused on the rollout of a digital banking platform, with Germany and Italy as the current focus.

The selected candidates will become part of an international data team, working on the development and evolution of data solutions within a modern cloud environment. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across different countries, contributing to the success of a large-scale banking transformation initiative.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain data pipelines and transformation processes.
- Work with Python and PySpark to process and optimize large volumes of data.
- Support the evolution of cloud-based data platforms.
- Collaborate with international teams across Germany and Italy.
- Participate in data transformation and integration initiatives.
- Contribute to code versioning, deployment, and development best practices using Git and GitHub.
- Work closely with technical and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver data solutions.

Requirements

- 2-4 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
- 1-2 years of experience with Python and PySpark.
- Experience working in cloud environments (AWS preferred).
- Experience with Git and GitHub.
- Interest or previous experience in the banking sector.
- English level B2 or above (mandatory).
- Ability to work in international environments.

Nice to Have

- Knowledge of Machine Learning and predictive models.
- Experience in data transformation projects.
- Experience interacting with business stakeholders.

Conditions

- Openings: 3.
- Location: Madrid or nearby areas.
- Work model: Hybrid (2 days on-site, 1 day for strong profiles).
- Contract: Permanent (Indefinido) via Huxley.
- Start date: End of September at the latest.
- Selection process: Soft skills interview + technical interview.
