In this role you design and lead observational studies and analyze healthcare data to generate high-quality evidence for decision-making. You will work with cross-functional teams and global clients to deliver impactful epidemiology and health economics research. The position combines study design, data analysis, and client-facing collaboration to support ICON’s mission of accelerating medicines development.

You’ll contribute to process improvements and mentor colleagues, shaping the evidence base used in healthcare decisions.

Compensaciones / Beneficios

- Design observational studies and develop study protocols, statistical analysis plans, and reports with clients and experts
- Lead and manage observational research projects, including chart reviews and secondary data analyses
- Perform statistical programming, analyses, modelling, and interpretation using SAS and/or R
- Produce high-quality reports, publications, abstracts, and presentation materials
- Contribute to data collection tools and questionnaires; source and evaluate secondary datasets and data required for research
- Ensure quality through QA activities and manage project timelines, budgets, and client communications
- Support proposal development, business development,



and client presentations; build client relationships
- Mentor colleagues and promote knowledge sharing within multidisciplinary teams
- Contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency and value for clients

Responsabilidades

- MSc or PhD in Epidemiology, Public Health, Biostatistics, or related field, or BSc with significant experience
- Approx. 5–7 years of relevant epidemiology experience, at least 3 years in pharma/biotech/CRO/healthcare consultancy/public health
- Experience with patient-level healthcare data and observational research methods
- Strong statistical programming skills in SAS and/or R
- Experience bringing epidemiological studies from concept to reporting/publication
- Excellent xugodme analytical, organizational, and project management skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communication; ability to present complex science clearly
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Collaborative mindset and ability to mentor others
- Interest in healthcare decision-making and real-world evidence
- Flexibility and ability to manage multiple priorities; willingness to travel ~15%
