Join an exciting project as the lead filmmaker for a youth-focused social media web series set in Alicante, Spain. This original series will consist of 24 episodes, each approximately two minutes long, centered on the real-life challenges faced by young people. The show is a dynamic blend of story, music, and dance, filmed in a single location with a cast of six actors aged 18–23.

Filming is scheduled to begin on 1 October and will run for about five weeks. Accommodation and project expenses are covered, and there is potential for future collaboration. Applicants willing to travel are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

- Direct and oversee all aspects of filming for 24 short-form episodes
- Collaborate closely with writers, actors, and production team to ensure creative vision is achieved
- Manage on-site production logistics, including scheduling and equipment setup
- Guide cast performances, focusing on authentic dialogue and dynamic group scenes
- Integrate music and dance elements seamlessly into each episode
- Ensure high production values within the project’s timeline and budget
- Oversee post-production workflow in collaboration with editors

Skills And Requirements





- Proven experience directing or producing narrative video content, ideally for web or social media
- Strong storytelling skills with a focus on youth-oriented themes
- Ability to work efficiently on location and manage a fast-paced shooting schedule
- Experience working with young adult actors and ensemble casts
- Proficiency with digital video equipment and on-set production workflows
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Willingness to be on-site in Alicante, Spain for the duration of the project
- Availability to start filming from 1 October for approximately five weeks
- Fluency in English; Spanish language skills are a plus
