Head of Project – Revenue Recovery

About the role:

We are seeking a Senior Finance Analyst - Revenue Recovery at Profit Connect in Madrid. This role involves leading the team to be able to manage financially relevant cases for international clients and directly contributing to revenue recovery activities. This position is suitable for individuals who are comfortable with ownership, accountability, and clear deliverables, and who seek to develop a solid career path in the fields of financial analysis and auditing.

Your responsibilities:

- Analyze commercial agreements and related financial transactions to identify discrepancies that impact revenue.
- Review and audit internal and external documentation (contracts, ad hoc agreements, marketing materials, and logistics records).
- Investigate, manage, and conduct end-to-end follow-up on supplier claims.
- Communicate directly and negotiate with suppliers to resolve claims efficiently.
- Verify and confirm that client payments are received in accordance with contractual terms.




- Lead team members so they can reach their full potential and achieve revenue goals.
- Identify opportunities for operational improvement and competitive advantages in customer service.
- Keep the database related to operations up to date.

Position requirements:

- Analytical mindset.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Experience working with SAP.
- Experience with other ERP or CRM systems is a plus.
- At least 5 years working in Financial, Accounting or Controlling departments (or similar).
- At least 3 years leading teams with an operational workload.
- Experience in retail sector is a plus.
- Experience in recovery audit is a plus.
- Structured, detail-oriented, and reliable work style.
- Comfortable managing priorities and consistently following processes.
- Motivated to grow professionally in a performance-oriented environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for negotiations with suppliers.
- Proficient in English (professional/fluent).
- Strong work ethic and punctuality.
