We are looking for a sharp, motivated, and analytical M&A; Analyst to join our dynamic team at S&E; Partners . This is an exciting opportunity to be part of strategic transactions and to learn very fast from top M&A; deal-makers and executives.

Who we are

We are a highly successful M&A; boutique operating in the middle market. Two thirds of our transactions are cross-border which indicates that our mindset is highly international.

Sell-side mandates are usually from Spanish family-owned companies. They represent about 60% of our success fees. We are absolutely committed to accompany them from the day they decide to sell to the day they get the sales price. We provide personal advice, we lead the M&A; process , we negotiate and get the best possible deal for them taking care of all the necessary steps.

Buy-side mandates come usually from multinational companies from Europe or the USA willing to buy companies in Iberia , Europe or worldwide.

We are agnostic in terms of industries but most of our deals are in the B2B arena. In the buy-side we have a clear bias towards food ingredients, access-control technologies, and pharma/health related companies.

Our partners have a long experience in M&A; both as advisors since S&E; was founded 18 years ago and as executives in multinationals and family-owned companies

What You will Do

1. Provide support throughout the entire M&A; process , including sourcing, evaluation, due diligence,



and execution of transactions.
2. Conduct financial modeling, valuation analysis, and scenario planning.
3. Research market trends, identify potential acquisition targets, and prepare investment memos and presentations.

Always working in a small and highly experienced team, you will see the whole activities progressing and have a 360-degree knowledge of the process.

What We're Looking For

1. Degree in Business administration. A degree also in law appreciated.
2. Ideally with a year's experience.
3. Passion for finances, investment banking, private equity, or corporate development.
4. Strong analytical and financial modeling skills (Excel proficiency required).
5. Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
6. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
7. Fluent in Spanish, English, and Catalan. Portuguese and Italian very welcome.
