Most market entry advice breaks at the same seam. The macro case is sound, the ground reality is something else entirely, and nobody in the room can connect the two. The client finds out which one was true after the capital is committed.

SISG is expanding its associate roster. We are looking for people who work at that seam.

A note on location The listing shows Madrid because that is where the firm is registered. The role is not a Madrid role. It is integral, in both directions: the work can take you into any market we operate in, and you can do it from wherever you are based. We have associates across Europe, the Levant, the Gulf and North America. Where you sit matters far less than what you can see from there.

The work

You translate political, security and macroeconomic conditions into commercial terms a board can act on. Typical assignments include:

- Market entry and expansion assessments, from investment thesis to named targets
- Opportunity mapping and counterpart identification
- Commercial and integrity due diligence on partners, agents and acquisition targets
- Continuity and exit planning built into the entry plan rather than added after it
- Reputational and narrative exposure in the target market
- Go, no go and phased entry recommendations put directly to leadership

Assignments are scoped individually. Some are a single written assessment. Others run alongside a client decision over several months.

What we are looking for

- A master's degree in economics, finance, international business or a related field. A bachelor's degree with two additional years of relevant experience is equally acceptable to us.




- At least five years of professional experience with substantial international exposure
- A demonstrable record in market entry, commercial due diligence or emerging market intelligence
- The judgement to state a position under uncertainty, and the discipline to separate what is known from what is assessed
- English is required. Arabic or French is a real advantage
- Discretion, and a professional record that survives due diligence

We are less interested in the institutions on your CV than in the decisions you have informed and whether they held up.

Terms of engagement

This is a project based associate engagement, not employment.

Compensation is negotiated per assignment against scope and seniority. Associates engage as independent contractors and are responsible for their own tax and social security obligations in their country of residence. Work is primarily remote, with occasional travel where an assignment requires presence. Engagement is subject to due diligence, confidentiality undertakings and applicable sanctions screening. Acceptance onto the roster does not guarantee assignments.
