Network Support Engineer (Band 2) – Data Center

Position: Network Support Engineer (Band 2)

Experience: 4–6 years

Location: Majadahonda, Spain

Employment Type: Full-Time

We are looking for a Network Support Engineer (Band 2) with hands-on experience in Data Center operations, network troubleshooting, switching and routing, and Smart Hands support. The engineer will be responsible for supporting network infrastructure, resolving incidents, performing rack-and-stack activities, and providing on-site technical assistance.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide L2 network support for data center network infrastructure and connectivity issues.
- Troubleshoot LAN/WAN, switching, routing, VLAN, and network connectivity issues.
- Perform rack-and-stack, cable management, device installation, replacement, and hardware troubleshooting.
- Provide Smart Hands support for remote network teams, including physical checks and device interventions.




- Monitor and resolve network incidents in accordance with SLA and ITIL-based processes.
- Perform basic configuration and troubleshooting of switches, routers, and network devices.
- Maintain accurate incident, change, and activity documentation.
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and remote network engineers for issue resolution.
- Follow data center security, safety, and operational procedures.
