Experteer Overview
In this role you will drive the development of TV-based HTML5 UIs, shaping end-to-end frontend features used by millions of users. You join a cross-functional team delivering polished TV experiences and optimizing interfaces for set-top devices. You will work in Barcelona within a data-driven, collaborative culture that values ownership and innovation. This is an opportunity to impact how premium content is accessed on Smart TVs at scale.

• Own end-to-end lifecycle of features from concept to deployment and maintenance
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team of developers, QA, designers, and product owners
• Build and optimize user interfaces for Smart TV applications
• Contribute to reusable UI libraries and component systems
• Publish and maintain TV apps and packages across platforms (Samsung, LG, Google Play)
• Integrate design systems from Figma into codebase
• Improve performance on low-end devices and TVs
• Research and adopt new technologies to improve delivery and UX
• Work with backend engineers, product managers and UX designers to ship polished features
• Help set long-term direction, roadmaps, and web app standards

Responsabilidades
• 5+ years of JavaScript development experience with React in a TV environment
• Experience with monorepo tooling (pnpm)




• Experience creating and maintaining reusable UI libraries (Storybook)
• Experience focus navigation on TVs
• Experience integrating design systems from Figma to code
• Experience publishing packages using npm registry
• Experience publishing TV applications (Samsung Seller Office, LG Store, Google Play)
• Experience with HTML5 video players and players like hls.js, Shaka Player, or Dash Player
• Experience with Video Ad Serving Template (VAST)
• Strong rendering performance on low-performance devices (TVs/set-top boxes)
• Experience with a dynamic product that changes frequently
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript and modern frontend tooling
• Experience with Scrum/agile methodologies
• Belief in a solid testing strategy
• Ability to research new technologies and seek optimal solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features
• Participate in setting long-term direction and standards for the web app
